A CDE programme on First Aid BLS and Emergency response was conducted on 25th and 26th October 2017 by Department of public health dentistry in association with Indian Red Cross Society , Disaster Management Team in the College Auditorium .

The programme was inaugurated by our dynamic beloved principal madam and various Head’s of departments. This Innovative ,Informative programme was conducted by Dr Kiran and Team from the Indian Red Cross Society, Bangalore Rural branch exclusively for the post graduate students of all the specialties and Interns of the college.

The main aim of the programme was to create awareness about basic life support systems with various interactive sessions and Hands on experience about different procedures to be performed by the participants at the emergency site. At the end of the two day Short Course , a certificate from KSDC with 12 CDE points, A certificate from Indian Red Cross Society, New Delhi was awarded to all the participants . We from the department of Public health dentistry thank our beloved Chairman, Directors and Principal for giving us such a excellent forum to learn and practice First Aid BLS and Emergency response.
