On the 29^th of June, 2021, the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics organised a programme on Intellectual property rights, a Dental perspective by Dr Elbe Peter.

Dr Elbe Peter has a Masters in Dentistry in Orthodontics, Ph. D, Dip. Clin. Res, M.OrthRCPS (Glasgow), LL.B and is presently an Additional Professor in Government Dental College, Kottayam.

The programme was conducted online on the Zoom platform and was live streamed on YouTube. It was a one and a half hour long webinar that started at 9:30am and ended at 11am. Around 200 participants participated in the programme. DR Vinaya Pai introduced the eminent speaker. The guest lecture was followed by an interactive question and answer as well compered by Dr Shreyas Rajaram. The overall programme was managed under the guidance of Dr Manjunath Hegde.
