It is an important day in the year, especially for the outgoing batch. The parents & relatives watch their wards, going through the graduation ceremony, wearing the graduate’s robes, with tears of joy. 

Graduation Ceremony of Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences , was held on 24.08.2019 at NIMHANS Convention centre . It was attended by our Directors Dr Siri Krishna  & Dr Swaira P, all Heads of the Department , Staff ,Graduates , Post Graduates and Parents.

Dr. S. Sacchidananda Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences was the Chief Guest and administered the Hippocratic oath to the graduates. Honorable Chancellor blessed the students & mentioned that good quality of treatment is very essential to achieve success. He also blessed students by advising them to inculcate values of life in them.

The graduates had the privilege of receiving their graduation certificates from the hands of honorable Vice chancellor.

In his presidential address, the Director , Dr Siri Krishna  asked the students to be service oriented in their lives, appealed to the young graduates to be proud of their institutes from where they have been graduated and be associated with them.

Principal Dr. Vinaya S Pai  welcomed the gathering, Chief guest emphasised the importance of mental wellbeing for successful career Dr. Krishnamurthy Professor Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, encouraged the students to be empathetic & treat success and failure equally, also appreciate parents’ efforts & sacrifices which help them to reach their goal.

Dr Ramya Raghu, Vice Principal of the institution inspired the graduates with her words of wisdom and narrated personal experiences of her long professional carrier.

Dr Shreya Bhat was awarded the best outgoing student award. She addressed the fellow mates that the journey of 5 years was indeed memorable.

Dr. Vathsala Naik Prof & HOD- Dept of Oral Medicine and Radiology  proposed the vote of thanks.
