First year students received a warm welcome from Principal and Staff during Orientation Day on 22/02/2021 at 10.00 am in our College Auditorium. Orientation Day is the best way to about Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore (BIDS). This year’s orientation programme also included tours to the different facilities to ensure students are acquainted with the University and the different facilities. The participants learnt about the wide variety of student activities at BIDS and had many opportunities to ask questions as well as learn about the campus culture and student life.

Students were introduced to the academic programme and all rules pertaining to the institution.

They were briefed about the BDS Curriculum ,duration, subjects, examination pattern ,attendance requirements ,internal assessment exam etc. The attempt was to give them an oversight into the future.

Special emphasis was made on prevention of ragging and students were assured that they safe in a ragging free campus. They were shown the UGC Video’s on anti-ragging and parents and students also filled ant ragging declaring forms as prescribed by UGC
